Lusweti Institute for Health Development communication is a non-governmental organisation indigenous to Swaziland, Southern Africa dedicated to the creation and provision of innovative health and development communication programs. Our efforts are focussed on bringing social change to society ensuring that a majority of people in the country are practising positive behaviour with respect to HIV and AIDS, health and development. With more than eight years of experience as an independent organisation, in implementing best-practice health communication we can look back on the track record of success. We are proud to say, we are experiencing over 80% brand recognition in Swaziland and that our materials reached 84% of the population. An independent audience reception and impact evaluation of the Lusweti program revealed that people love our work, people engage with the issues raised by us, our material increases knowledge, we achieve change, people take actions. We were established in 2002 as a Regional Health communication programme and became an independent legal entity registered under section 21 of the 1912 companies Act NO.7 in July 2008.
